Pharmacy Program Coordinator, Data Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Offer assistance in the analysis of financial, operational, and clinical data for pharmacies

• Aid Associate Directors in the interpretation and assessment of data outcomes

• Deliver regular reporting

• Create and implement databases and systems for data collection

• Formulate data analytics and additional strategies that enhance statistical efficiency and quality

• Retrieve data from primary or secondary sources

• Oversee databases and complex data systems

• Filter and refine data by examining reports and performance indicators to identify and rectify coding issues

• Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information requirements along with enhancement opportunities

• Launch and execute resource management initiatives for the Medical Center and departments

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy is mandatory

• Pharm.D. or equivalent qualification from an accredited pharmacy school

• Active pharmacist licensure in the State of California

• Demonstrated experience as a data analyst or business data analyst

• Technical proficiency in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation techniques

• Familiarity with reporting tools (such as Tableau, Business Objects, etc.), databases (like SQL, etc.), and programming languages (including XML, Javascript, etc.)

• Understanding of statistics and experience utilizing statistical software for data analysis (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.)

• Strong analytical capabilities to gather, organize, analyze, and convey significant amounts of information with precision and attention to detail

• Proficiency in queries, report generation, and presenting insights

• Capability to apply current pharmacological and biopharmaceutical principles in the selection of drug products within a clinical environment

• Ability to learn and adapt to automated information systems

• Skill in developing and executing cost-containment strategies and identifying new revenue streams

• Competence in establishing and applying quality control and performance enhancement measures

• Ability to make recommendations, design programs, and assist in business operations planning

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Capacity to serve as a preceptor in educational programs

• Ability to prioritize workflow effectively

• Knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards pertinent to institutional pharmacy practice
