Pharmacy Network Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop and nurture robust relationships with pharmacy providers, ensuring adherence to service quality, contract obligations, and performance standards.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with pharmacies to facilitate competitive pricing and foster sustainable partnerships.

• Identify, assess, and onboard pharmacy providers to enhance network coverage and access to specialty services.

• Monitor provider performance, pinpoint areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance service delivery.

• Collaborate with internal teams on pricing assessments, reimbursement issues, contract management, and compliance with regulations.

• Assist in executing pharmacy network strategies through detailed reporting, financial analysis, and initiatives for continuous improvement.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical contracting, pricing, or related network operations.

• Experience collaborating with pharmacy providers, vendors, or healthcare partners, including managing relationships and resolving issues.

• Strong analytical and financial abilities, capable of evaluating pricing, expenses, and operational performance.

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities independently.

• Preferred experience in pharmacy benefit management (PBM), managed care, hospice or palliative care, or specialty pharmacy networks.
