This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Spearhead the creation of innovative clinical programs while overseeing the upkeep of existing ones.
β’ Ensure effective communication and education for clients, members, providers, and internal teams regarding clinical programs and their outcomes.
β’ Conduct clinical outreach to members, prescribers, and pharmacy providers to improve care coordination.
β’ Assist operational departments in the implementation and daily operations of PBM programs to enhance member/patient care quality.
β’ Collaborate with various departments and offer guidance in the development, execution, and maintenance of clinical programs.
β’ Convey standards, regulations, and guidelines, including Medicare Part D, PQA, and HEDIS measures, to stakeholders and clients.
β’ Support the Residency Program Director in the PGY1 Managed Care Residency Program.
β’ Provide leadership, training, supervision, and strategic direction to Product Managers.
β’ Contribute expertise through active participation in the Specialty Clinical Group.
β’ Engage in the Coverage Determination process when necessary.
β’ Offer clinical insights related to formulary decisions made by the P&T Committee and Formulary Advisory Committee.
β’ Analyze, assess, and disseminate health outcomes and utilization data for effective program management and development.
β’ Create and maintain clinical, evidence-based documentation that supports PBM programs.
β’ Convert technical guidelines into clinical program business requirements and assist with program testing.
β’ Execute other responsibilities as assigned.
β’ A Bachelorβs degree in Pharmacy or a PharmD is required.
β’ Possession of current, unrestricted licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of residence, or the ability to achieve reciprocity within 4 months.
β’ A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, or completion of a clinical or managed care pharmacy practice residency along with 1 year of clinical experience.
β’ Desired knowledge of the PBM industry, formulary management, pharmacy claims, and managed care principles and practices.
β’ Preferred proficiency in drug literature and clinical trial evaluation, including familiarity with electronic databases (e.g., Micromedex, Medline, Facts & Comparisons).
β’ Preferred proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, including the use of tables, charts, and figures.
β’ Commitment to participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
