Pharmacist – Clinical Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +14 more states.

📋 Description

• Act as the clinical subject matter expert within the account team.

• Offer clinical consulting services by examining drug utilization patterns and trends for Pharmacy Benefit Management clients.

• Provide quarterly and annual reports on the clinical components of clients' benefit plans.

• Educate clients about CVS Health's clinical programs and solutions.

• Suggest client implementation and adoption of clinical programs and solutions.

• Maintain above-average scores for client satisfaction.

• Contribute to revenue growth of the account team related to clinical programs and solutions.

• Collaborate and communicate with internal teams and clinicians supporting client clinical programs.

• Meet strict deadlines while applying exceptional writing and organizational skills.

• Travel as required, up to 40% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of managed care experience or 1 year of CVS Health or another Managed Care Residency program.

• Valid pharmacist license in good standing.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time, which may include flights, overnight stays, local travel, short-notice travel, and other necessary travel.

• Outstanding presentation and oral/written communication skills.

• Proven understanding of formulary and utilization management.

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.

• Preferred: experience in a client-facing role.
