This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Validate interactions, dosing, or contraindication findings against the complete medication list and patient chart.
• Detect overlooked interactions, outdated patient data leading to incorrect dosages, and guidelines that have been replaced by more recent Special Alerts.
• Evaluate whether the entire clinical scenario, including active medications, current laboratory results, and comorbidities, has been taken into account.
• Differentiate between allowed medications and suitable options for the individual patient.
• Ensure that clinical determinations are reflected in updated orders, prescriber notifications, and documentation in the chart/note.
• Participate in projects aimed at training and enhancing AI systems for prominent AI laboratories and enterprises.
• Utilize UpToDate Lexidrug (or Lexicomp) frequently, at least weekly, in a current or recent position.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in pharmacy.
• Inpatient/hospital experience is highly preferred.
• Competence in conducting full medication-list interaction assessments.
• Capability to evaluate contraindications, boxed warnings, and warnings/precautions within the context of the patient.
• Skill in distinguishing between “not contraindicated” and “suitable for this patient.”
• Ability to reconcile Special Alerts with monograph content.
• Proficiency in applying renal/hepatic dose-adjustment logic and calculators using current laboratory results and weight.
• Strong foundational knowledge in at least 2–3 specialized areas: Trissel's IV Compatibility; pediatric/weight-based dosing; Beers Criteria/geriatric precautions; pregnancy and lactation risk categories; REMS and prescribing/access restrictions; therapeutic class comparisons; drug identification and multilingual patient education materials.
• PharmD and active pharmacy license, or equivalent verification-intensive clinical experience.
• Comfort in ensuring that clinical findings are documented and communicated effectively in the chart and care team.
• Previous experience in data annotation, labeling, or AI evaluation is advantageous.
• Unable to accommodate H1-B or STEM OPT candidates.
