This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +2 more states.
• Develop disease awareness with key stakeholders and confirm comprehension of treatment initiation processes and patient identification.
• Collaborate with both internal and external partners regarding prior authorization, payer restrictions, reimbursement conditions, and patient referrals to enhance patient access.
• Oversee the sales budget and increase sales within the territory through an effective territory plan and engaging communication strategies.
• Utilize business planning and local market insights to build sales and customer networks.
• Forge relationships with partners and communities to gain insights into treatment algorithms and business dynamics within accounts.
• Execute compliant and medically relevant initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
• Visit customers in the designated area based on their significance and potential.
• Manage accounts through sales, negotiations, development, and the definition of customer solutions.
• Cultivate relationships with customers and opinion leaders.
• Engage in, develop, and lead meetings and events such as congresses, round tables, and training sessions.
• Create and present action plans aimed at achieving sales objectives.
• Plan and monitor account metrics while communicating progress on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Keep track of market developments.
• Organize training sessions, informative programs, and product presentations.
• Identify new accounts and explore growth opportunities.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
• Alternative qualifications include: high school diploma plus 10 years of experience; associate degree plus 6 years; or M.S. with no experience required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English.
• Preferred experience in sales account management.
• Prior experience in the healthcare industry is preferred, particularly in eye care pharmaceuticals or medical devices.
• Demonstrated technical learning ability and agility.
• High-energy, self-motivated individual who thrives in a collaborative team environment.
• Results-driven with a strong sense of determination.
• Openness to challenge the status quo.
• Excellent skills in communication and negotiation.
• Attributes such as self-control, confidence, reliability, strong business acumen, and organizational skills are essential.
• Valid driving license, category B.
• Must be able to cover the Columbus, OH territory.
