
Pharmaceutical Sales Representative III, South Texas

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Engage with veterinary customers and collaborate with distributor partners to enhance product sales and increase market share in the animal health category.
• Support customers by processing orders and addressing inquiries regarding products.
• Amplify product recognition within the designated territory.
• Achieve overall sales targets and key growth-product quotas through effective demand generation.
• Introduce new products to the market while reinforcing the position of existing products.
• Cultivate and exhibit technical knowledge, articulate communication, and veterinary practice expertise.
• Establish and nurture relationships with targeted hospitals and personnel to sustain and enhance account relevance and accessibility.
• Formulate and implement Territory Business Plans along with resource allocations.
• Utilize PRN resources effectively and conduct follow-ups to optimize ROI.
• Fulfill field activity expectations, which include sales calls and medical education initiatives.
• Create and execute tailored call cycles at both the account and veterinarian levels.
• Utilize CRM tools to foster and improve customer relationships.
• Lead by example and provide mentorship to the sales team.
• Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sales, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 5 years of sales experience in the animal health or pharmaceutical sector.
• Proven experience in managing distributor accounts and client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a large geographic sales territory.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Advanced proficiency in utilizing CRMs to drive sales initiatives.
• Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Must be a resident within the assigned territory.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check and drug screening is required.
• Verification of employment eligibility for work in the United States is mandatory.
