This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Perform proactive outreach to healthcare providers regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance.
• Interact with customers via virtual and digital tools, directing them to other team members as necessary.
• Organize speaker programs and coordinate local provider groups.
• Ensure customer requests are fulfilled and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
• Work collaboratively with the ecosystem team to refine targeting and call-point strategies.
• Leverage customer insights to shape local strategies and business objectives.
• Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Analyze territory, competitive data, business reports, sales figures, and promotional budgets to monitor progress and uncover opportunities.
• Provide education to office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Utilize promotional materials and resources from internal support teams.
• Address objections and influence prescribing patterns during office visits.
• Network with professional groups and key opinion leaders.
• Cultivate relationships with office and practice personnel, with a focus on patient health.
• Conduct balanced office calls and sales presentations utilizing approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Exhibit product and competitive knowledge to assist healthcare providers in enhancing patient outcomes.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• A qualifying experience of at least one of the following: 2+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales; 3+ years in B2B or comparable outside sales in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement environments; or 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience with patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused responsibilities.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered if they successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
• Knowledge of CNS is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to communicate complex clinical information, influence stakeholders, and translate scientific data into actionable value propositions.
• A commitment to ethical business practices and adherence to regulatory compliance is essential.
• Capacity to assimilate and communicate intricate clinical and product information.
• Must reside within a 50-mile commutable distance from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Travel ability is necessary.
• Daily field travel by car is required.
