This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Conduct proactive outreach to healthcare providers regarding product access, on-label information, and established patient care guidance.
• Engage customers through virtual and digital tools, directing them to the appropriate colleagues as necessary.
• Facilitate speaker programs and organize local provider groups.
• Ensure customer requests are fulfilled and gather feedback on the quality of engagement.
• Collaborate with the ecosystem team to compliantly adjust targeting and call-point plans.
• Utilize customer insights to shape local strategies and business objectives.
• Elevate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Leverage competitive data, business reports, sales data, and promotional budgets to monitor progress and identify opportunities.
• Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Maintain awareness of internal support resources and utilize them effectively.
• Overcome objections and influence prescribing habits during office visits.
• Network with territory professional groups and key opinion leaders.
• Build relationships with office and practice personnel while prioritizing patient health.
• Provide accurate information and ensure follow-through on account needs.
• Deliver balanced office calls and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references.
• Demonstrate product and competitive knowledge to assist healthcare providers in enhancing patient outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree.
• At least one qualifying experience path: 2+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device sales experience; 3+ years of business-to-business or equivalent outside sales experience in regulated, clinical, or customer engagement settings; or 2+ years of clinical healthcare experience with patient-facing, medical education, or therapy-focused responsibilities.
• Candidates with less experience may be considered if they successfully complete the Otsuka ReadyNow program.
• Knowledge of CNS is highly valued.
• Ability to communicate complex clinical information, influence stakeholders, and translate scientific data into practical value propositions.
• Strong commitment to ethical business practices and a solid understanding of regulatory standards.
• Capability to execute business activities in accordance with company policies and guidance.
• Must be able to assimilate and convey complex clinical and product information.
• Must reside within a commutable distance of 50 miles from Lincoln, NE.
• Willingness to travel.
• Daily field travel by car is required.
