Pest Control Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Engage in a 5-week paid training program focused on pest detection, elimination, and prevention strategies.

• Develop professional relationships with commercial clients, including those in hospitality and foodservice sectors.

• Collaborate with clients to identify and address their pest elimination requirements.

• Maintain in-depth knowledge of Ecolab's products and services to improve service delivery and sales.

• Utilize handheld computerized devices to document structural issues, sanitation concerns, and pest problems.

• Provide prompt, cost-effective, and high-quality service under close supervision.

• Acquire the necessary pest control licenses and/or certifications as required by state or local regulations.

• Operate independently in a flexible, field-based setting.

• Safeguard customer brands and public health through scientifically-based solutions.

• Travel to Eagan, Minnesota for one week of training.

• Operate a company vehicle as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.

• Two years of professional or military experience.

• A current and valid Driver’s License without restrictions.

• Availability for overnight shifts and on-call duties during off-hours and weekends as required.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Required to obtain pest certification and/or business licensing in accordance with state/local laws.

• Candidates who receive a job offer must undergo a background check.

• Candidates receiving a job offer must pass a drug test, including THC screening.

• Immigration sponsorship is not an option.

• Capability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds at chest height.

• Ability to wear and utilize a respirator.

• Capacity to work in confined spaces, damp/dusty environments, and extreme temperatures.

• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and standing for prolonged periods.

• Must be able to drive a company vehicle.

• Previous customer service experience is preferred.

• Experience in selling value-added products to existing clients is preferred.

• Previous experience in the pest elimination industry or route management is preferred.
