This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.
• Oversee personal injury cases throughout the litigation process.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery documents, correspondence, and other litigation materials.
• Support attorneys with case strategy, legal research, and litigation readiness.
• Evaluate, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, insurance details, discovery, and other relevant case documents.
• Engage with clients to collect information, provide updates on their cases, and assist them in navigating the litigation process.
• Collaborate with opposing counsel, medical providers, expert witnesses, lien holders, and insurance companies.
• Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation-related events and deadlines.
• Prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, documents, witness materials, and other essential case resources.
• Ensure accurate, detailed, and organized case files are maintained in the firm’s case management system.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal is required.
• Experience in personal injury litigation is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume litigation caseload.
• Strong grasp of litigation processes, timelines, and case management.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in legal writing, proofreading, and verbal communication.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and manage various cases efficiently.
• A professional, empathetic, and client-centered approach is essential.
• Familiarity with Filevine or a similar legal case management system is advantageous but not required.
• Candidates must reside in Wisconsin.
