Bilingual Immigration Court Paralegal Coordinator, English-Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Execute Pre-Attorney and Post-Attorney Reviews for 12–15 packages each week, ensuring that motions and filings comply with legal and formatting requirements.

• Manage and distribute the team’s caseload, including Court/ICE cases, USCIS motions, SIJ, and declarations, based on complexity and team availability.

• Keep an updated master deadline calendar.

• Introduce at least one process enhancement every two weeks that involves documents, templates, or automation.

• Ensure the integration of process improvements into the team’s daily operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of proven experience in immigration law firms, actively managing cases before the Immigration Court (EOIR / removal defense).

• Proficient in both Spanish and English, with speaking and writing skills at a minimum B2 level.

• Previous experience in supervising, coordinating, or leading paralegals or legal staff, ideally in remote settings.

• In-depth understanding of EOIR procedures, including Master Calendar Hearings, Individual Hearings, the BIA appeal process, and e-filing protocols.

• Capability to review and validate motions for Continuance, Change of Venue, Reopen, Reconsider, Terminate, Withdraw, Administrative Closure, and Bond.

• Familiarity with immigration relief options available during removal proceedings, such as asylum, cancellation of removal, and adjustment of status.

• Eagerness to personally engage in a case or motion, setting a standard for the team.
