Bilingual Immigration Paralegal, Declarations Writer – English/Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Prepare and take client declarations

• Create middle-role legal packages, which include cover letters, correspondence, and forms, utilizing templates and case specifics

• Perform research and collect information

• Learn and implement internal processes

• Engage in communication with clients

• Collaborate effectively within the team

⛳️ Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish

• At least 6 months of experience handling humanitarian immigration cases (VAWA, T Visa, U Visa, Family Based)

• Experience in taking declarations and drafting legal documents

• Fundamental understanding of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows

• Proven ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English

• Strong proficiency in written drafting, grammar, syntax, and legal style

• Capacity to work collaboratively with a team

• Strong skills in client communication, demonstrating clarity, empathy, and professionalism

• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Ability to rapidly learn new processes, workflows, and legal concepts

• Client-focused approach with sensitivity to humanitarian cases

• Analytical skills with the ability to organize facts logically

• Flexibility to adapt to changes in case requirements or regulations
