Perishable Operations Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Report directly to the Senior Director of Perishables

• Supervise and enhance execution and operational excellence throughout a network of clubs

• Ensure financial accountability for the clubs under your oversight

• Implement merchandising priorities, display strategies, sales initiatives, and product flows across club locations

• Uphold standards in quality, ordering, training, and production

• Recognize areas for improvement and apply merchandising strategies to ensure chain-wide consistency

• Analyze sales, profitability, merchandising, and operational efficiency data

• Generate actionable insights, identify trends, and tackle improvement opportunities

• Collaborate with clubs, regional teams, Merchandising, CSC, Club Operations, and DC Operations

• Develop the skills of Club Managers, Fresh Managers, and Meat Managers

• Drive training initiatives and assist in succession planning

• Engage in new club openings and share perishable area expertise with club team members

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail merchandising, operations management, or a related discipline

• Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in data analysis tools and technologies

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills

• Proficient in BJ's Information Systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel

• Previous experience in merchandising and operations for perishable goods is a plus
