This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Assume overall leadership responsibilities for sites that currently lack permanent management.
• Hold complete accountability for guiding personnel, resources, and operations at services that are temporarily unmanaged.
• Uphold the highest standards of care and service in accordance with regulatory, contractual, and company standards.
• Offer targeted operational assistance to established site leadership teams.
• Propel quality enhancements.
• Assist in business development efforts.
• Improve financial performance across both existing and newly launched services.
• Ensure compliance with legal, statutory, regulatory, and commissioning requirements.
• Manage service user documentation and records, and facilitate meaningful activities for residents.
• Cultivate effective working relationships with senior management, peers, and functional colleagues.
• Ensure adequate staffing, recruitment, scheduling, onboarding, training, motivation, and support.
• Lead the rollout of new services, stimulate referrals and admissions, and disseminate best practices.
• Meet agreed-upon budgets by optimizing income and managing staffing and other expenses.
• Support Home Managers with daily operations, quality management, health and safety, legal and regulatory obligations, environmental policies, and duty of care.
• Cover Priory Adult Care’s North Region, which includes Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the North of England.
• Registered Manager with substantial prior experience in social care leadership.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory and statutory obligations related to social care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a matrix organization.
• Capacity to deliver continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and robust leadership skills.
• Proven understanding of key business functions associated with managing a care home, specialist service, or supported living operation.
• Extensive travel and overnight stays are necessary.
• Flexibility to be based full-time at a site for an indefinite duration and stay away from home throughout the week.
• Potential deployment to any site nationwide as required.
