This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess and guarantee the scalability, reliability, and responsiveness of Salesforce applications across various Salesforce environments.
• Strategize, design, execute, and evaluate performance tests across Salesforce Orgs, integrations, APIs, and custom components.
• Formulate performance testing strategies for Salesforce Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Create and implement performance test scripts utilizing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Simulate user loads for Salesforce UI, Experience Cloud portals, API integrations, and batch/async processes.
• Verify response times, throughput, latency, governor limits, platform events, and asynchronous queue responses.
• Record performance defects with comprehensive reproduction steps and logs.
• Capture, analyze, and report performance metrics related to Apex, SOQL queries, flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and LWC components.
• Assess integration performance across external APIs, AWS/Snowflake data fetches, and authentication flows.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to enhance code, configurations, integrations, and caching.
• Establish advanced monitoring as necessary to evaluate system performance.
• Confirm scalability for high-traffic public portals, high-volume APIs, seasonal surges, and enterprise releases.
• Engage in Agile software development practices, including standups, planning, grooming, and estimation.
• Conduct peer reviews of test cases and testing documentation.
• Provide remote support for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services activities through the FSSSO program.
• Master’s degree with over 8 years of practical performance testing experience, including at least 4 years specifically in Salesforce performance testing.
• Direct experience with large, intricate Salesforce projects.
• Proficient in navigating Salesforce with a thorough understanding of Salesforce terminology.
• Expertise in QA test management for Salesforce, covering both functional and non-functional testing.
• Experience in executing test plans and regression test suites, encompassing UI, backend, components, and integrations, using web and API automation.
• Practical experience in developing automation test scripts from the ground up.
• Familiarity with Micro Focus/OpenText, Performance Center (LoadRunner), Selenium WebDriver, and/or Cucumber with RESTful services.
• Knowledge of integrating testing tools with Jenkins/GitHub.
• Extensive experience in creating testing documentation, including Test Summary Reports and requirements traceability reports.
• Ability to analyze performance test reports and identify application and infrastructure performance issues and bottlenecks.
• Capability to assess and enhance network performance.
• Understanding of API integration performance testing with REST, SOAP, and GraphQL.
• Outstanding oral and written communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in conveying complex technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness and capability to obtain a CMS Public Trust clearance (T4).
• Must have resided in the United States for at least three of the last five years.
• Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant certification is preferred.
• Experience in testing Salesforce-to-Snowflake ETL/ELT pipeline performance is preferred.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline integration for automated performance testing is preferred.
• Experience in working with or interfacing with CMS is preferred.
• Ability to resolve issues independently and devise alternative solutions.
• Proficiency with data exchange tools and technologies, including APIs.
• Experience in interpreting customer business requirements, writing functional test cases, and conducting software quality tests.
• Experience with proactive monitoring technologies such as New Relic, AppDynamics, DynaTrace, and/or Splunk.
• Expert understanding of Salesforce best practices.
• Experience in testing real-time data synchronization against batch-processing performance trade-offs.
• Experience in a Scrum and/or SAFe Agile environment.
• Salesforce Administration experience.
• Experience using JMeter.
