Performance Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the planning and execution of automated and performance testing initiatives across the program.

• Conduct performance, load, stress, and endurance testing in accordance with established testing plans.

• Develop and sustain automated test scripts using Selenium and other automation frameworks.

• Aid in the design and enhancement of performance test scenarios and data sets.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects, performance challenges, and system bottlenecks.

• Analyze testing outcomes and produce reports.

• Relay findings to development and leadership teams.

• Maintain testing documentation, encompassing test plans, test cases, and execution logs.

• Collaborate with developers, operations, and QA leads to ensure comprehensive test coverage and issue resolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent relevant experience in place of a degree).

• U.S. citizenship required.

• Capability to obtain and uphold a Public Trust clearance.

• Strong experience in QA automation.

• Proficiency in Selenium.

• Experience in designing and maintaining automated test frameworks.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, NeoLoad, k6, or similar.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation abilities.

• Proven experience in developing test plans, test cases, and test reports.

• Experience in identifying performance bottlenecks in partnership with technical teams.

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Capacity to mentor junior QA staff.

• Ability to swiftly learn new technologies, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferred).

• Experience in Agile software development settings (preferred).

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis and unit testing (preferred).

• Experience with Momentum ERP or other ERP systems (a plus).

• Familiarity with enterprise-scale financial and/or government systems (highly desirable).
