This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership and expand HELOC media buying across SEM, paid social, display, and emerging performance channels.
• Develop channel strategies, testing methodologies, and best practices for Upstart’s HELOC performance marketing initiatives.
• Enhance incremental customer acquisition by fine-tuning bids, budgets, audiences, and creative assets in alignment with volume, CPA, and ROI objectives.
• Create and implement experimentation programs that focus on keywords, audiences, creatives, and formats.
• Oversee and project significant media budgets effectively.
• Conduct campaign setup, manage keywords and audiences, handle bidding, budgeting, creative testing, and optimize landing pages.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing, Analytics, Creative, and the HELOC General Manager to launch campaigns and evaluate messaging, targeting, and channel strategies.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in performance marketing or digital media buying, with a strong emphasis on SEM and additional exposure to paid social and/or display.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale acquisition programs, overseeing substantial monthly budgets, and achieving measurable growth in relation to CPA, ROI, and volume targets.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge in paid search, including keyword strategy, bid management, ad copy testing, and landing page optimization.
• Strong analytical abilities, including the interpretation of performance data, experimental design, and data-driven decision-making.
• Capacity to excel in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
• Preferred: Experience in regulated or longer-consideration-cycle industries such as financial services, fintech, lending, insurance, or marketplaces.
• Preferred: Experience in launching and scaling new channels or products from inception to market.
• Preferred: Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance landing pages, funnels, and on-site conversion rates.
• Must be available to work in US East/West Coast time zones.
