Performance Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Offer personalized 1:1 virtual nutrition coaching to student-athletes enrolled in the IMG Academy+ program.

• Potentially lead group coaching sessions.

• Establish genuine connections with adolescent and teen athletes.

• Utilize behavior-change coaching techniques to assist athletes in setting realistic and individualized goals.

• Provide ongoing nutrition support and recommend and sell additional coaching sessions when deemed appropriate.

• Deliver evidence-based nutrition guidance that is appropriate for the age and developmental stage of the athletes.

• Create tailored fueling plans to help athletes achieve their goals safely.

• Manage a minimum caseload of 55 student-athletes.

• Conduct 40-minute coaching sessions, averaging 50 athlete sessions per month.

• Hold monthly 20-minute sessions with parents for each student-athlete.

• Complete administrative tasks such as client communication, scheduling, note-taking, and session tracking.

• Contribute expertise during product development meetings and feedback sessions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Availability for weekly sessions with all clients, with flexible hours that include nights and weekends.

• Approximately 30 hours of total weekly availability, with at least 15 family-friendly hours (weekdays after 5pm local time or any time on weekends).

• Demonstrated 1:1 coaching experience with adolescent and teen athletes.

• Strong skills in behavior-change coaching.

• Experience in sales and account management.

• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification.

• State licensure in the state of residence, if applicable.

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related discipline.

• Ability to comply with local legislation regarding nutrition services and advice.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and motivational skills.

• Knowledge of the latest nutrition research.

• Experience in creating menus and addressing catering needs for athletes.

• Understanding of sports governing-body regulations regarding restricted substances and supplements.

• Experience in developing educational content aimed at youth.

• Ability to convey current knowledge in practical and realistic terms.

• Capacity to connect with and inspire youth athletes, particularly adolescents and teens.

• Recognized credibility as a subject matter expert in Nutrition.

• Strong time management skills, adaptability, and flexibility.

• Openness and responsiveness to feedback.
