Performance Creative Strategist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee the creative strategy and messaging across various paid social accounts, from initial brief to execution.

• Perform research driven by performance metrics and enhance messaging and briefs utilizing ad-platform data and competitor analysis.

• Create impactful creative concepts based on consumer insights and platform behaviors.

• Write and direct copy and frameworks that shape perception and drive results.

• Collaborate with design, editing, and media buying teams for cohesive creative alignment from start to finish.

• Mentor and assist junior creatives in their development.

• Present innovative ideas and directions to clients and internal teams.

• Convert performance data and qualitative feedback into actionable creative enhancements.

• Remain informed about emerging trends, cultural shifts, and new creative formats.


⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in performance-driven creative work.

• Outstanding writing skills, particularly in short-form, digital-first content, supported by a strong portfolio.

• A combination of strategic and creative thinking — equally intuitive and data-informed.

• Profound understanding of consumer behavior, platform algorithms, and brand storytelling.

• Proven success in developing performance-focused creative that yields tangible business outcomes.

• Capability to analyze performance data to guide creative adjustments.

• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

• A genuine enthusiasm for mentoring and empowering others.

• Proficiency in written and spoken English is a must.

• Background in performance creative and a data-driven approach to creativity.

• Compelling portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, copywriting, and performance creativity in short-form and visual-first content.

• Comfort with interpreting performance data to guide creative changes; experience with MotionApp is an advantage.

• Experience working collaboratively across teams and disciplines in a dynamic environment.
