This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Assess the current practices of members' automotive shops and suggest enhancements in line with ATI best practices and techniques.
• Offer coaching, consultation, and mentorship to members to assist them in achieving their business goals and aspirations.
• Lead members through ATI’s 48-month re-engineering program and alumni initiatives.
• Actively listen to the needs of shop owners.
• Engage with members through phone, Zoom, and email communications.
• Analyze financial statements, assess competitors, and evaluate business practices.
• Create new business models or formulate recommendations to present to clients.
• Provide consultation, training, mentorship, and coaching to clients.
• Support clients in establishing the foundational elements of a profitable business.
• Achieve or surpass ATI objectives, including client return on investment, CSI scores, report cards/road maps, alumni conversation rate, weekly client engagement, and class attendance.
• Track members' program progress and align their needs with their desires.
• Complete necessary startup agreement documentation and coach-client agreements.
• Record clear weekly notes following client/coach conversations.
• Supply research and content for articles, classroom instruction, and training materials.
• Participate in weekly Coaches meetings and keep abreast of trends in service-related industries.
• Attend Shop Owner’s Dinner Events, the annual SuperConference, industry events, ATI classes, peer/performance groups, podcasts, owner events, presentations, and tradeshows.
• Join required company meetings and conduct weekly One-on-Ones with Team Leaders.
• Manage calendar and time efficiently.
• At least 10 years of overall automotive experience, heavily focused on service writing, shop management, operations management, or prior shop ownership, ideally within the independent, non-dealer, aftermarket sector.
• Experience in operations management, preferably within an aftermarket chain with established internal structures and processes.
• Outstanding coaching and mentoring abilities.
• Strong understanding of automotive business operations.
• Capacity to influence others through telephone and videoconferencing communications.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in teaching, instructing, and mentoring small business owners or employees.
• Clear comprehension of the challenges faced by independent shop owners.
• Proven experience in consultative management, people development, and business management, with a history of working in organizations that set monthly goals.
• Proficient in computer applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Familiarity with SalesForce CRM is a plus.
• Strongly preferred sales capabilities.
• Experience in accounting or P&L management.
• Background in marketing and online/social media.
• Writing skills with an interest in contributing articles to industry magazines are a plus.
• Solid understanding of how to attract and retain high-quality employees across all experience levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
• Ability to persuade business owners to implement significant changes and paradigm shifts.
