PeopleSoft HCM Payroll Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assess current payroll and benefits workflows to identify areas for enhancement or correction.

• Redesign and address business process challenges related to vendor integrations across various EMEA and APAC regions.

• Configure and provide support for PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll & Benefits (HCM) functionalities.

• Analyze integration needs and manage connections between PeopleSoft and external/vendor systems.

• Work collaboratively with vendors, developers, business users, and other stakeholders throughout all phases of the implementation process.

• Develop functional/design documentation, test scripts, test scenarios, and test plans.

• Assist in functional, integration, and user acceptance testing activities.

• Utilize SQL for data analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and resolving issues.

• Review and assess technical solutions alongside PeopleSoft developers.

• Aid in issue investigation, root-cause analysis, and resolution throughout the implementation and testing phases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience with PeopleSoft HCM.

• Significant hands-on experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll & Benefits.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and their configurations.

• Experience with PeopleSoft integrations as well as third-party/vendor integrations.

• Proficient in SQL for analysis and troubleshooting purposes.

• Background in payroll implementations, transformations, enhancements, or support projects.

• Experience in preparing design documents, functional specifications, test scripts, and test plans.

• Familiarity with PeopleSoft technical components, such as Application Engine, SQR, interfaces, and integrations.

• Capable of evaluating technical solutions and collaborating effectively with developers.

• Strong coordination and communication skills for liaising with vendors, developers, business users, and cross-functional teams.

• Experience supporting multi-country environments in EMEA and APAC is highly preferred.

• Immediate availability is required.
