Peoplesoft Finance Functional Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Lead discovery workshops and collaborative sessions with both business and IT stakeholders.

• Evaluate the current state of PeopleSoft Financials business processes, system configurations, and operational practices.

• Analyze financial processes, including controls, integrations, reporting, and manual workarounds.

• Identify gaps in business processes, operational risks, and opportunities for improvement.

• Document observations, recommendations, and future-state options to aid client decision-making.

• Participate in the development of roadmaps and discussions around modernization.

• Prepare and deliver findings and executive-level summaries to client leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the field.

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

• Significant functional experience in implementing or supporting PeopleSoft Financials.

• Practical knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM.

• Hands-on experience with various PeopleSoft Financial modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Treasury, Cash Management, Billing, Projects, and Grants Management.

• Strong grasp of financial business processes, internal controls, and industry best practices.

• Proven experience in facilitating discovery sessions, client workshops, and conducting business process assessments.

• Capability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate findings into actionable recommendations.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage business users, technical teams, and executive stakeholders.

• Experience in delivering assessments, advisory services, and providing solution recommendations.

• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
