This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Map existing People processes
• Redesign processes prior to automation
• Develop workflows and automations utilizing HRIS and various tools, including Rippling, Slack, and Notion
• Design for exceptions and edge cases within processes
• Oversee joiner, mover, and leaver execution throughout the employee lifecycle
• Minimize human intervention in People processes
• Bridge operational gaps between People, IT, Finance, and Payroll
• Establish internal mobility processes for promotions, transfers, manager changes, and entity modifications
• Identify and eliminate manual handling
• Decrease employee and manager support inquiries
• Track reductions in hours, tickets, or errors
• Draft and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks
• Ensure processes are maintainable by others
• Keep process documentation as a reliable source of truth
• Create scalable processes that comply with audit and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with IT and Finance on process controls and documentation
• Proven experience in building People Ops/HR Systems in a rapidly growing company, ideally through a period of significant expansion
• Experience with implementing or migrating an HRIS
• Practical experience in creating workflows and automations within HR systems or related tools
• Proficiency in working with triggers, conditions, integrations, and failure scenarios
• Strong systems thinking skills, including understanding triggers, conditions, failure modes, and edge cases
• Ability to discern what should not be automated and articulate the reasoning
• Excellent writing and documentation abilities
• Experience managing operations across multiple countries and entities, including Employer of Record (EOR) or contractor groups
• Familiarity with the employee journey from hiring to separation
• Quick adaptability to new tools
• Experience with Rippling or similar implementation (preferred)
• Familiarity with APIs, webhooks, or integration tools (preferred)
• Experience with IPO readiness or preparations for SOC 2 and SOX (preferred)
