People Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Address challenging and ambiguous questions with thoroughness and independence, taking ownership of projects from problem identification to final recommendations.

• Create and execute project plans, enhance workflows, and ensure that all stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout the entire process.

• Track project progress, recognize potential risks, and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them, guaranteeing timely and successful project completion.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and engineering, to pinpoint areas for process and control enhancements.

• Establish and uphold effective project governance, ensuring that all project activities, decisions, and key milestones adhere to established standards and best practices.

• Prepare presentation materials for senior leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and users.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement within the People team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess over 7 years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting, including a minimum of 2 years within an HR team at a company.

• Demonstrated success in navigating complexity and achieving results while balancing urgency and thoughtfulness.

• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with teams such as HR, Finance, Legal, Product, Tech, and Leadership.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to inform decision-making.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the capacity to clearly and persuasively convey complex ideas to various stakeholders.

• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Jira, Airtable) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).

• Strong capabilities in cross-functional collaboration and a proven history of building trust and driving alignment among teams.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, managing multiple projects concurrently.
