People Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of projects from defining problems to delivering final recommendations.

• Create and execute project plans while optimizing workflows.

• Keep stakeholders updated and engaged throughout the duration of projects.

• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and apply mitigation strategies.

• Work in collaboration with legal, finance, and engineering teams to enhance processes and controls.

• Set up and uphold project governance in accordance with established standards and best practices.

• Prepare documentation for senior leadership, as well as internal and external stakeholders and users.

• Promote collaboration, experimentation, and ongoing improvement within the People team.

• Manage projects comprehensively or cross-functionally across various People pillars.

• Ensure the effective delivery and adoption of high-priority initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in project management, business operations, strategy, or consulting, with a minimum of 2 years spent within an HR team at a company.

• Demonstrated ability to navigate complexity and achieve results while balancing urgency and thoughtfulness.

• Experience working collaboratively across HR, Finance, Legal, Product, Tech, and Leadership teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Expertise in project management tools such as Asana, Jira, and Airtable.

• Familiarity with project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

• Strong ability to collaborate across functions, with a proven record of building trust and fostering alignment.
