This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Administer, maintain, and enhance the HRIS to guarantee data accuracy, system efficiency, and a smooth user experience.
• Serve as the subject matter expert regarding HRIS functionality, configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Lead and assist in the implementation and alignment of a new global system across various regions and business units.
• Oversee HRIS upgrades, enhancements, and comprehensive implementation projects from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Configure and sustain system workflows, approval processes, and integrations with other business platforms.
• Develop and maintain HR dashboards, reports, and analytics.
• Ensure data integrity through routine audits, testing, and data governance practices.
• Identify, design, and enact opportunities to streamline and automate People & Culture processes.
• Map current-state processes, pinpoint pain points, and create future-state workflows.
• Drive process improvement initiatives across HR systems and Total Rewards operations.
• Document standard operating procedures and uphold process documentation.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and business leaders on workforce planning, reporting, and cross-functional process alignment.
• Train and assist end-users on HRIS tools, workflows, and system enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and workflow effectiveness, recommending ongoing improvements.
• Support project planning, testing, and change management for implementations and upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and deliver enhancements.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives across HR systems and operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 5-8+ years of experience in HRIS administration, systems analysis, or HR operations/process enhancement.
• Practical experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, UKG, Dayforce, SAP SuccessFactors) and HR data management.
• Demonstrated experience with HRIS implementation, system optimization, or process improvement projects.
• Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in Excel and HR reporting/BI tools.
• Experience in process mapping, workflow design, and documentation (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or similar).
• Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in data management.
• Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate across teams and convert business needs into system requirements.
• Experience with system integrations and an understanding of data flows between HR platforms is a plus.
• HRIS or systems-related certifications (e.g., Workday, UKG, PMP, Lean Six Sigma) are considered advantageous.
