This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Act as the primary contact for US employees regarding people-related inquiries.
• Oversee the onboarding process for all new hires in North America.
• Assist managers with daily people-related questions, performance discussions, and employee relations matters.
• Manage US benefits and leave, while effectively communicating options to employees.
• Handle local People administration and take charge of biweekly US payroll inputs.
• Prepare, verify, and authorize salary data, variables, and changes in Rippling and HiBob.
• Lead the complete hiring process for North American positions, from defining scopes and sourcing candidates to extending offers.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience and maintain effective communication.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to establish role criteria and make hiring decisions.
• Take responsibility for multi-state US employment compliance.
• Oversee multi-state SUI and employment tax compliance, including Rippling filings and state correspondences.
• Foster US culture through check-ins, performance processes, and team gatherings.
• Spearhead or contribute to global People projects and initiatives.
• Report directly to the VP People and work in conjunction with the MD US and the global People & Finance team.
• Minimum of 4 years in people roles within a scaling US company or startup.
• Proven, authentic generalist experience across recruiting and HR operations.
• Strong understanding of multi-state US employment law.
• Practical experience with multi-state employment compliance navigation.
• Hands-on experience in administering US employee benefits, health insurance, and leave management, including FMLA.
• Familiarity with HiBob, Rippling, or a similar HRIS.
• Capability to source candidates and manage structured, end-to-end hiring processes.
• Experience in employee relations, onboarding, manager support, and compliance.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and building processes from the ground up.
• Demonstrates high ownership with a low-drama approach.
• Residing in the US, preferably near Denver, Colorado.
• Ability to maintain overlap in work hours with colleagues across the US and Europe.
