This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada, +1 more country.
• Manage headcount, attrition, and comprehensive people cost reporting from start to finish
• Develop reporting for executives and board members
• Establish meaningful people metrics and their interpretations
• Reconcile headcount data between People and Finance
• Refine reporting taxonomies, starting with the categorization of termination reasons
• Detect and address data quality issues
• Implement checks to prevent erroneous data from being entered into systems
• Oversee the employee data model, including definitions and governance
• Collaborate with the HRIS team to facilitate necessary reporting
• Challenge existing systems and enhance them according to the data vision
• Manage US and global benefits administration, including renewal cycles and open enrollment
• Handle employee records, employment verification, and data requests
• Assist the team with daily employee inquiries
• Automate recurring reporting tasks
• Empower managers and leaders to access their own data
• Minimize manual reporting requests
• Generate reports that are suitable for audits and external diligence
• Collaborate with Finance and IT on data controls and evidence
• Design People Operations systems to support future company growth
• Over 5 years of experience in people analytics and reporting in dynamic, scaling environments
• Significant experience in delivering people operations solutions across all areas of the talent journey
• Experience with HRIS implementation or migration
• Proven ability to build reports from the ground up
• Proactively identify and resolve data quality issues, ensuring high standards for clean and dependable analytics data
• Effectively convey data insights, including numerical findings, source methodologies, and explanations for discrepancies
• Write clearly and default to thorough documentation
• Experience managing operations across various countries and entities, including EOR or contractor populations
• Comfortable navigating the employee journey from hire to exit
• Quick to adapt to new tools
• Experience with Rippling or its implementation is a plus
• Proficient in building reports using a BI tool or working effectively with SQL
• Familiarity with IPO readiness, SOC 2, and SOX preparation
