This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +15 more states.
• Act as the primary contact for employees regarding HR-related questions via the HR Ticketing system, ensuring confidentiality and providing an excellent employee experience.
• Oversee the global onboarding and offboarding processes for new hires and terminations with a focus on the Americas region.
• Coordinate payroll documentation, benefits administration, and compliance with work authorization for new employees.
• Manage and deliver compliance-related training on a global scale.
• Maintain current employee information within the global HRIS system.
• Ensure accurate employee records and uphold data integrity.
• Administer compliance for US leave-of-absence through Cocoon.
• Provide leave support for employees based in Canada and Brazil outside of Cocoon.
• Assist with benefits administration and collaborate with international benefits providers throughout the Americas.
• Support performance and compensation cycles, which include the bi-annual merit and promotion processes.
• Aid in employee engagement surveys and other global people initiatives.
• Serve as a backup for EMEA/APAC onboarding, offboarding, leave, benefits, and employee inquiries.
• Work alongside the broader People Operations team to implement and enhance company-wide people processes.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of HR Generalist/Operations experience in fast-paced technology settings.
• PHR or aPHR certification, or a commitment to obtain certification within 18 months of hire.
• Experience in managing global HR systems; experience with UKG/Ultipro is preferred.
• Previous experience with leave administration in the US; experience in Canada and Brazil is advantageous.
• Familiarity with HR ticketing systems is considered a plus.
