This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a reliable advisor and thought partner for leaders in the DoorDash Labs Engineering and Operations teams.
• Collaborate with senior executives to convert business objectives into human resource strategies and organizational structures.
• Co-manage strategic workforce planning across both areas.
• Recognize upcoming capability requirements and succession strategies.
• Lead talent development initiatives for a globally distributed and hybrid workforce.
• Provide guidance on sensitive employee relations, change management, and leadership effectiveness.
• Work alongside People Centers of Excellence on enterprise-wide projects that hold local significance.
• Leverage people data to affect decisions, promote accountability, and formulate action plans.
• Assist with M&A integration and change management initiatives.
• Foster inclusion, innovation, and resilience through coaching and leadership facilitation.
• Engage through weekly team syncs, Slack communication, flexible core collaboration hours, virtual coffee chats, and team retreats.
• Support leadership collaboration, employee engagement, talent planning, succession readiness, organizational health evaluations, and performance and compensation cycles.
• 8–10+ years of progressively responsible HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a business partner role supporting corporate functions.
• Global HR experience, especially in multi-region organizations with a diverse workforce.
• Demonstrated success in advising senior leaders and managing complexity on a large scale.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with HRIS; Workday experience preferred.
• Proficient in people analytics.
• Excellent project management capabilities.
• Experience in driving initiatives from concept through to execution.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Practical experience in managing, supporting, or scaling people operations for large, hourly workforces.
• Experience in a dynamic or logistics-intensive environment is ideally preferred.
• An advanced degree or certification in HR or Organizational Psychology is a plus.
