This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Serve as the main strategic HR partner for non-exempt support, service, finance, and legal functional leaders, ranging from line managers to executives.
• Create and implement scalable solutions aimed at strategic planning, visioning, performance management, talent assessment, change management, and team development.
• Oversee and facilitate company programs, such as Career Connect performance reviews, calibrations, manager workshops, and engagement survey readouts/action planning.
• Assess organizational needs, identify talent gaps, and collaborate with leaders to execute practical talent solutions.
• Act as a functional subject-matter expert in one or more areas of People functions.
• Utilize insights and data to foresee people-related challenges, propose proactive solutions, and contribute to the strategy and planning of the People Team.
• Manage HRIS updates, employee records, and operational workflows to ensure data accuracy and a seamless employee experience.
• Employ AI-based tools to enhance task efficiency and effectiveness.
• Independently manage onboarding, offboarding, performance management discussions, and other HR operational processes.
• Establish trusted partnerships with business leaders, providing coaching and guidance.
• Collect employee sentiment, present insights to People Team leadership, and implement organizational or programmatic enhancements.
• Develop, assess, and refine initiatives to boost engagement and retention.
• Strengthen SonderMind’s culture by acknowledging milestones, celebrating successes, connecting employees to purpose, and enhancing a sense of belonging.
• Promote data-driven, continuous organizational improvements.
• Over 5 years of professional HR experience, particularly in supporting service or sales leadership.
• Experience aiding global and/or highly matrixed organizations in scaling.
• Proficient in navigating spreadsheets, HRIS platforms, and employee data.
• Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, including policies, processes, and best practices throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Proven ability to build trust and strong partnerships, particularly with executive-level leadership.
• Demonstrates sound judgment and experience in evaluating risk in relation to the business.
• Excellent consulting, coaching, and facilitation skills.
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities.
• Exhibits empathy and experience in driving community-building initiatives.
• Proactive and resourceful mindset in uncertain situations.
• Experience supporting non-exempt or hourly employee groups.
• Must be a resident and authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
