People Adviser

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all employees and managers, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies.

• Deliver consistent and precise advice to managers regarding employee relations issues.

• Utilize various people and related systems effectively.

• Keep accurate, concise, and clear records to monitor cases and finalize procedures for incident and service requests.

• Implement a coaching approach when offering advice and guidance, employing established techniques, e-learning tools, and systems.

• Stay informed about the latest HR policies and procedures.

• Assist with incoming and outgoing transfers under TUPE regulations.

• Uphold confidentiality, particularly concerning sensitive HR information.

• Offer a high-quality advisory and guidance service through the consistent application of Human Resources policies, procedures, and guidance notes.

• Accurately and consistently process HR activities within Action for Children’s People Systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess a CIPD professional qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

• Capability to establish credibility for oneself and the service by fostering excellent relationships.

• Proficiency in selecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.

• Demonstrated presentation and communication skills.

• Proven leadership abilities to promote and support ongoing organizational improvements.

• Familiarity with key employment law principles.

• Evidence of continued professional development.

• Must reside in the UK.

• Visa sponsorship is not required.

• A DBS Basic vetting level is necessary.
