Pension Systems Configuration, Testing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Identify essential test scenarios for pension calculations.

• Execute tests utilizing pension calculation software.

• Validate calculation outcomes and document any identified discrepancies.

• Ensure proper follow-up on the resolution of identified discrepancies.

• Work together with functional leaders and business analysts to outline test scope and criteria.

• Analyze technical documents and configuration specifications.

• Maintain and improve the test suite in line with new features and system adjustments.

• Participate in calculation review sessions and team meetings.

• Collaborate with development, actuarial, and business teams to address issues.

• Suggest enhancements to verification and testing processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• University degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or finance.

• 3+ years of relevant experience in defined benefit pension plan administration.

• Experience in verification of calculations and/or implementation of pension plan calculation systems.

• Proficient in pension calculation software.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Knowledge of VBA programming (asset).

• Excellent organizational capabilities and ability to manage priorities.

• Competent in solving complex problems.

• Strong attention to detail and professional diligence.

• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.

• Candidates whose job roles require work at a Data Center and/or access to detailed technology knowledge are subject to Personnel Security Screening conducted by the Government of Canada.
