Penetration Testing Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Execute authorized penetration testing activities within client environments

• Conduct internal and external network penetration assessments

• Carry out evaluations of web applications, mobile applications, wireless security, and social engineering as needed

• Confirm vulnerabilities and document security findings

• Generate clear and professional reports that include supporting evidence and recommendations for remediation

• Engage in project kickoff, status updates, and findings review meetings as required

• Follow established testing methodologies, maintain quality standards, and adhere to project timelines

• Ensure strict confidentiality of client information and assessment outcomes

• Undertake project-based consulting assignments that may last from several days to multiple weeks

• Convert technical findings into business-oriented recommendations

⛳️ Requirements

• At least three years of practical experience in penetration testing

• Proven experience conducting client-facing security assessments

• Strong grasp of attack methodologies, exploitation techniques, and prevalent security vulnerabilities

• Proficient with industry-standard penetration testing tools and methodologies

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Capable of working independently and managing tasks with minimal oversight

• Ability to adhere to confidentiality and independent contractor agreements

• One or more relevant offensive security certifications are required, such as OSCP, PNPT, GPEN, OSWE, eWPT, CRTO, or other pertinent certifications

• Expertise in one or more areas, including internal or external network penetration testing, Active Directory security assessments, web or mobile application penetration testing, wireless security testing, social engineering assessments, red team/adversary simulation exercises, or cloud security assessments
