Penetration Testing, API Security, and Computer Forensics Instructor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Conduct live remote classes

• Guide students, address inquiries, and provide constructive feedback on their assignments and projects

• Utilize various tools and methodologies for comprehensive security assessments of applications, APIs, and AI-driven systems

• Investigate and carry out forensic analyses of cyber incidents

• Foster the development of students' technical, strategic, and ethical perspectives in cybersecurity

• Assess the security of APIs and LLMs, focusing on architecture, vulnerabilities, technical risks, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards

• Create security assessment frameworks for APIs and LLMs

• Examine endpoints, authentication, authorization, and behaviors under adversarial testing scenarios

• Detect vulnerabilities in APIs and LLMs, including data exposure, injection, evasion, and GraphQL-related issues

• Set up Kali Linux environments for forensic investigations

• Gather evidence from storage devices, analyze file systems, and recover deleted information

• Conduct analyses of volatile memory and malware artifacts utilizing Volatility 3 and Autopsy

• Monitor network traffic using tools like Wireshark, Xplico, and NetworkMiner

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on, relevant, and current experience in Purple Team operations, application security, and computer forensics

• Completion or revalidation of a postgraduate specialization (lato sensu) in Brazil

• Preference for candidates with a Master’s or PhD

• Experience applying course competencies in high-profile projects and organizations is preferred

• Teaching experience or involvement in related activities is preferred

• Demonstrated professional experience in the domain

• Excellent communication skills and a talent for teaching

• Dedication to project-based learning approaches

• Eagerness to learn and implement a competency-based teaching model

• Strong verbal communication abilities

• Availability for grading, student support, and lesson planning

• Immediate availability to start

• Availability for remote evening classes twice a week, from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM
