Pell Grant Processing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Configure and enhance the Haskell CAMS Prioritized Packaging function to accelerate Federal Pell Grant processing.

• Develop and oversee the governmental satisfactory academic progress function to meet student requirements.

• Daily import of ISIR data from EdConnect into Haskell CAMS through a secure VPN connection.

• Detect and manage any missing documents necessary for FAFSA processing, communicating with students as needed.

• Supervise the verification process for Title IV federal student aid applications, ensuring adherence to federal regulations.

• Provide training for staff on disbursing Pell/award payments using CAMS.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in CAMS, with specific experience training staff on disbursing Pell/award payments through the system.

• Background in financial aid processes and systems, especially within a higher education context.

• Knowledge of the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) System and EDConnect.

• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for managing the budgeting and packaging of student financial assistance.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.

• Must successfully pass a federal security investigation/background check and acquire a Department of the Interior Public Trust security clearance before starting.

• U.S. Citizenship is required to work in support of a federal agency.
