This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Design and implement Pega applications utilizing the Pega PRPC (PegaRULES Process Commander) platform.
• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and fellow developers to grasp requirements and convert them into technical designs.
• Develop and uphold technical documentation, such as design specifications, test plans, and deployment instructions.
• Conduct unit testing and assist in user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Diagnose and resolve technical challenges within Pega applications.
• Engage in code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
• Enhance application performance while ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Keep abreast of the latest Pega technologies and industry developments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in Pega development.
• In-depth knowledge of Pega PRPC architecture, components, and features.
• Expertise in Pega Rules, Flows, Activities, Reports, and User Interfaces.
• Familiarity with SOAP, REST, JMS, and MQ integration technologies.
• Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
• Secret clearance level required.
• Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification is preferred.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is preferred.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker is preferred.
• Understanding of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is preferred.
• Candidates for employment in the US must possess work authorization that does not currently or in the future require visa sponsorship for employment authorization in the United States.
