This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the development and execution of initiatives and strategies for Construction Hike for Hope, Community Walks, and Campus Walks.
• Facilitate peer-to-peer revenue events by managing content, providing fundraising coaching, analyzing events, and developing strategies.
• Work in collaboration with Chapter Staff to implement peer-to-peer fundraising events.
• Develop and sustain social media content calendars for fundraising initiatives.
• Oversee Community Fundraising inboxes, assigning incoming tasks and addressing inquiries.
• Support vendor relationship management and maintain regular communication with vendors.
• Update the Out of the Darkness Walk and Construction Hike for Hope websites, including landing pages.
• Offer customer service and website/registration assistance to event Chairs and participants.
• Aid in the research and cultivation of Community Impact Sponsorship relationships.
• Coordinate requests for report templates and provide video tutorials.
• Assist with text-platform reporting, staff/volunteer training, troubleshooting, template creation, and platform upkeep.
• Help design and execute email campaigns for fundraising events.
• Process requests related to sponsorships, logos, and regional/national sponsorship marketing.
• Contribute to the development and distribution of community fundraising resources and materials.
• Review and update event manuals on Chapterland.
• Engage in open office hours and Q&A sessions.
• Conduct event and market analysis to recommend goals for peer-to-peer events.
• Gather, verify, and manage projections for community fundraising events.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• At least one year of experience in Peer to Peer Fundraising.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Experience in fundraising, particularly in peer-to-peer events.
• Background in a national nonprofit organization with a Chapter structure.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Public speaking and presentation abilities in both in-person and virtual settings.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to attend all required meetings and training sessions.
• Willingness to travel as necessary for work meetings or events.
• Capable of speaking in front of small and large groups, both virtually and in person.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service orientation and ability to interact with staff, donors, board members, volunteers, and the public via phone and email.
• Ability to sit, talk, and/or hear, and use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls; occasional standing and/or walking required.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
