Pediatric Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Promote, manage, and enhance Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in both hospital and clinical environments.

• Establish and support sales objectives for Similac and PediaSure across hospital and office service areas.

• Negotiate and oversee hospital contracts.

• Present product, clinical study, protocol, and guideline information in a sales-oriented context.

• Assist in the launch of new products.

• Collaborate with various hospital departments, such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries, and Nursing units.

• Partner with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses.

• Handle administrative duties and manage territory budgets.

• Operate autonomously to meet both short-term and long-term sales objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical background is preferred.

• Clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian or Registered Nurse is ideal.

• A track record of stability and success in sales is essential.

• Demonstrated subject matter expertise and strong business acumen.

• Familiarity with hospital environments, particularly in pediatrics, is advantageous.

• Must reside in Springfield or Peoria, Illinois.

• Only local candidates will be considered; no relocation assistance is provided.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with Dietitians, Physicians, and Nurses.

• Comprehensive understanding of products, clinical studies, protocols, and guidelines is necessary.

• Strong administrative and budget management skills.

• Ability to work independently with a high degree of initiative and autonomy.

• Willingness to travel approximately 10% of the time.
