Pediatric Registered Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to patients, families, and facility personnel regarding all facets of medical nutrition therapy.

• Foster relationships with physicians and nursing staff to enhance patient satisfaction and ensure quality care.

• Conduct nutritional assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions for both inpatient and outpatient services.

• Offer nutrition education to patients, families, nursing staff, food service personnel, and facility employees.

• Record patient assessments, nutritional objectives, and interventions in the medical documentation.

• Communicate with physicians and clinical teams regarding patients’ nutritional conditions.

• Oversee physician orders for therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements.

• Participate in patient rounds.

• Uphold clinical nutrition policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must possess Tennessee RD State Licensure or have the ability to obtain such licensure.

• Significant pediatric experience is essential.

• Registered Dietitian credentials from the Commission of Dietetic Registration and state-required licensure.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or a related discipline.

• Familiarity with regulatory standards.

• Proficient in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and various software tools.

• Capability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills.

• Service-oriented approach with a commitment to surpassing expectations.

• Self-driven with the ability to prioritize tasks and projects effectively.
