This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee tactical and administrative management for the district's planning, development, and control of initiatives aimed at boosting sales and market share.
• Enhance the skills of territory managers through effective training, coaching, and motivation.
• Conduct field visits approximately 10 times per representative each year and ensure proper documentation of these visits.
• Assess employee performance, provide coaching for improvement, and prepare performance evaluations.
• Recruit and select candidates by sourcing, conducting interviews, participating in job fairs, and maintaining a pool of qualified candidates.
• Propel the business forward through strategic resource allocation and budgeting, including managing free goods and expenses.
• Relay issues and opportunities to the Regional Director for further action.
• Facilitate meetings, training sessions, and oversee special projects.
• Manage the financial and marketing resources for the district effectively.
• Hold accountability for the district's Sales Representative team.
• Travel for sales meetings, dedicating approximately 20% of your time to this commitment.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 3 years of sales leadership experience, with a preference for 5–10 years.
• Experience in hospital sales is essential.
• Strong understanding of geographic and business landscapes.
• Mastery in the sales of technical products is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adjust personal communication style to accommodate the needs of others.
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
• Proven track record in training effectiveness.
• Demonstrated strengths in strategic thinking, decision-making, teamwork, initiative, and driving business success.
• Proficiency in understanding and implementing field sales directives and management policies.
• Willingness to travel, which is mandatory for all sales meetings.
• The ideal candidate should reside in Riverside County, Orange County, or San Diego County.
