Pediatric Neurologist – PRN Peer Review

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Perform independent, remote evaluations of cases to assess medical necessity, appropriateness, or quality of care.

• Deliver evidence-based evaluations and written conclusions in accordance with established clinical guidelines and review standards.

• Assist with utilization reviews, appeals, hearings, and concerns regarding quality-of-care and standard-of-care.

• Maintain clinical integrity, impartiality, and objectivity throughout the review process.

• Conduct case reviews independently in a secure remote setting while adhering to turnaround deadlines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a practicing Pediatric Neurologist currently active in the field.

• Possess an active, unrestricted U.S. license/certification.

• Board certified in your specialty by an ABMS or AOA-recognized board.

• A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in your area of expertise.

• Actively seeing patients for an average of at least 20 hours per week.

• Excellent written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Capability to review cases with objectivity and meet established turnaround times.

• Comfortable working autonomously in a secure, remote environment.

• Ability to sit, read, work on a computer, and view a screen for extended durations.

• Occasionally able to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, kneel, or crouch.
