This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts, +1 more state.
• Meet or surpass sales targets within the designated geographic region.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the diabetes sector.
• Execute initiatives aimed at fostering customer loyalty.
• Present and demonstrate Insulet products alongside competitive diabetes solutions.
• Educate and train customers on the Insulet data management software.
• Maintain an active engagement with Managed Markets while staying informed about managed care organizations and their decision-makers.
• Organize and conduct mandatory training programs for customers.
• Maintain a prominent presence with professional diabetes organizations in the assigned territory.
• Oversee sales promotions relevant to the designated area.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues from the commercial and corporate offices.
• Implement field sales activities following promotional guidelines.
• Fulfill administrative tasks promptly and within budgetary constraints.
• Travel frequently by car within the designated geographic area, including potential overnight trips of 2–5 times per month.
• Associate degree.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
• Required professional credentials and/or certifications: Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN).
• State licensure as mandated by state regulations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong skills in presentation.
• Capacity to implement sales and marketing strategies while managing the territory budget.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
• Experience working directly with healthcare professionals and individuals with diabetes.
• Proficient in computer use and data analysis.
• Must reside within the geographic area assigned.
• Capability to lift, carry, and transport items weighing up to 30 lbs.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Previous experience in sales or clinical selling within medical devices and/or diabetes is advantageous.
• Established relationships with endocrinologists are preferred.
• Prior experience in the industry, clinical settings, and diabetes training is preferred.
