This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Supervise and carry out comprehensive payroll processing for all staff, ensuring precision, punctuality, and adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Oversee payroll audits, reconciliations, tax submissions, and year-end activities.
• Assess and authenticate payroll reports, identify discrepancies, and swiftly resolve issues.
• Partner with the Finance team to facilitate accounting, budgeting, and reporting needs.
• Uphold payroll policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance records.
• Evaluate payroll-related processes and propose enhancements to systems or procedures.
• Ensure data integrity, uniformity, and compliance with both organizational and legal standards.
• Address data inquiries from HR, Finance, and executive leadership.
• Manage updates, upgrades, testing, and troubleshooting of the UKG system in collaboration with IT and the HRIS vendor.
• Maintain system workflows, automations, and user access permissions.
• Provide HRIS user training, documentation, and support throughout the organization.
• Assist the field HR team with HRIS modifications as necessary.
• Contribute to HR technology initiatives, including implementations, integrations, and enhancements.
• Suggest tools and solutions that align with organizational objectives.
• Support Corporate HR initiatives, including Benefits Open Enrollment.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll deductions and taxes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll administration.
• Proficiency with UKG, specifically in payroll processing.
• Previous experience in processing multi-state payrolls.
• Experience with at least one HRIS implementation that includes payroll components.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy.
