Payroll Tax Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee payroll taxes across approximately 21 states for 3 FEINs.

• Enhance ADP Workforce Now using Smart Compliance to evaluate, monitor, and manage agency communications.

• Establish new jurisdictions and complete registrations with ADP for payroll processing.

• Address ongoing tax matters with respective agencies.

• Examine payroll data and generate tax reports as required.

• Manage user access for agencies and the company website.

• Standardize procedures, propose opportunities for process enhancements, and organize related documentation.

• Reconcile previous quarter/year filings with ADP to ensure adherence to compliance standards.

• Handle amendments and year-end filings, while preparing for the upcoming year.

• Assist the Payroll Department by providing current best practices and updated tax knowledge.

• Liaise with Payroll/HR, Business Partners, and Management.

• Execute other related tasks as needed and assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3 years of professional experience.

• In-depth knowledge of multi-state taxation, compliance, and payroll reporting.

• Proficiency in ADP Smart Compliance, ADP Service Requests, and collaboration with ADP representatives.

• Intermediate skills in Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups).

• Familiarity with Outlook, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks effectively.
