Payroll Specialist, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independently manage and prepare monthly payroll for clients.

• Oversee a designated portfolio of clients and act as the primary contact for inquiries related to payroll, wage tax, and social insurance.

• Generate reports for health insurance funds and social insurance providers.

• Create necessary certificates and confirmations.

• Review payroll-related data and implement changes as needed.

• Ensure comprehensive and accurate data processing.

• Prepare payroll utilizing DATEV software.

• Implement digital processes to enhance efficiency in processing.

• Track critical deadlines and comply with statutory requirements.

• Guarantee dependable and timely payroll processing.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed vocational training, such as a Tax Clerk, Office Management Specialist, or Personnel Services Specialist, or an equivalent qualification.

• Preferably, additional training in payroll, such as Payroll Specialist (IHK), Certified Personnel Management Specialist (IHK), or Certified Assistant for Payroll and Compensation (m/f/d).

• Several years of professional experience in payroll or compensation accounting, preferably within a tax advisory firm.

• Strong understanding of wage tax and social insurance legislation.

• Familiarity with DATEV, particularly DATEV Lohn und Gehalt.

• Knowledge of DATEV LODAS is a plus.

• Proficient in MS Office applications.

• Ability to work independently with a structured and detail-oriented approach.

• High level of confidentiality when managing sensitive information.

• Professional and amiable communication style when interacting with clients.

• Fluent in German, both written and spoken.
