Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Facilitate comprehensive payroll processing and validation across multiple countries.

• Gather, review, and verify payroll inputs and outputs.

• Conduct payroll reconciliations and identify discrepancies between anticipated and actual results.

• Investigate payroll variances and resolve issues in collaboration with internal teams or payroll partners.

• Assist with payroll adjustments related to new hires, terminations, salary modifications, bonuses, deductions, and leaves.

• Assess payroll calculations and associated documentation for precision.

• Liaise with internal payroll teams and external partners to address payroll inquiries.

• Preserve accurate payroll records, documentation, and tracking systems.

• Utilize payroll technology and automated validation tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

• Acquire knowledge and support additional countries as global payroll operations progress.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience in payroll, preferably including in-house processing.

• Experience managing payroll independently for at least one country.

• Solid understanding of payroll inputs, calculations, validations, reconciliations, and outputs.

• Capability to investigate discrepancies and comprehend changes in payroll results.

• Strong attention to detail and confidence in handling payroll data and figures.

• Proficient in using payroll systems, Excel/Google Sheets, and automated tools.

• Excellent English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and payroll partners.

• Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changing payroll processes.
