Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive end-to-end payroll processing support for Managed Payroll clients

• Oversee multiple clients and deadlines in a dynamic work setting

• Serve as the designated Specialist for Managed Payroll and Payroll Administrative clients

• Manage and address daily cases to fulfill service level agreements and achieve client satisfaction goals

• Handle escalated internal cases

• Resolve client issues, manage escalations, conduct Root Cause Analysis, and implement corrective measures

• Lead client calls on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis

• Engage in new client transitions and service-area discussions

• Configure basic to medium-complexity Workday pay components, deductions, and run categories

• Assist with year-end processes and special projects

• Troubleshoot quarter-end and year-end audit reports and provide recommendations

• Achieve quality and production metrics along with scorecard targets

• Maintain documentation for payroll services support

• Collaborate with colleagues and customer teams to assist clients and resolve requests

• Provide support to OSV customers across various service levels as required

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree

• Over 3 years of Payroll experience encompassing end-to-end processing, research, payroll logic, and troubleshooting

• More than 3 years of Customer Experience, or demonstrated skills to operate at this level

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

• In-depth knowledge of payroll taxes, intermediate payroll configuration, and compliance

• Experience with multi-jurisdiction tax, payroll year-end, and W-2 support and adjustments

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities

• Background in an outsourcing environment—preferably payroll or tax, with experience in Workday and Salesforce programs
