Payroll Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive end-to-end payroll processing assistance for Managed Payroll clients.

• Oversee multiple clients and deadlines within a dynamic work setting.

• Serve as the designated Specialist for Managed Payroll and Payroll Administrative clients.

• Handle and address daily cases to achieve service level agreements and ensure client satisfaction.

• Address escalated cases from internal sources.

• Troubleshoot client issues, manage escalations, conduct and document Root Cause Analysis, and establish corrective measures.

• Facilitate weekly, monthly, and quarterly client meetings.

• Engage in new client onboarding and service-area discussions.

• Set up basic to medium-complexity Workday pay components, deductions, and run categories.

• Assist with year-end processes and special initiatives.

• Analyze quarter-end and year-end audit reports and provide recommendations.

• Achieve quality and production targets as per metrics and scorecards.

• Maintain documentation for payroll services support.

• Collaborate with colleagues and client teams to assist customers and address requests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree.

• Over 3 years of Payroll experience encompassing end-to-end processing, research, payroll logic, and troubleshooting.

• More than 3 years of Customer Experience, or demonstrated capabilities at this level of experience.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong knowledge of Payroll Taxes, intermediate Payroll configuration, and Payroll Compliance.

• Experience in Multi-Jurisdiction tax, Payroll Year End, and W-2 Support and Adjustments.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Background in an outsourcing setting—payroll, tax, Workday, and Salesforce programs (preferred).
